 III. Product Structure
The pneumatic clutch brake mainly consists of the following components:
- Clutch Body: Installed on the main shaft of the equipment, its center hole size can be customized according to customer requirements (size range refer to the sample), and it is the core component of the clutch.
- Clutch Ear Plate and Brake Ear Plate: Connected to the flywheel and machine body of the equipment respectively through four pins, ensuring the stable operation of the clutch and brake.
- Friction Pads (Blocks): Play a key role in the clutching and braking process, realizing the transmission and interruption of power.
- Clutch Pins, Brake Pins and Locking Plates: Used for connecting and fixing various components. Among them, the locking plates are embedded in the pin grooves and fixed on the flywheel or machine body with screws to prevent axial movement of the pins.

 IV. Working Principle
 (I) Clutching Process
External compressed air enters the clutch cylinder through the intake hole, pushing the piston to move. Through the friction pads, clutch body, and flat key, the driven part is rotated to realize the clutch engagement, enabling the transmission of power.

 (II) Braking Process
After stopping the air supply, the piston moves in the opposite direction under the action of the spring, and through the friction pads, clutch body, and flat key, the driven part is quickly braked. The braking time is only 0.01 - 0.02 seconds, ensuring that the equipment can stop quickly.

 V. Installation Requirements
 (I) Hole Diameter and Parallelism Requirements
The hole tolerance for installing the four pins should be H7, and the hole center should be parallel to the main shaft center to ensure the installation accuracy and stability of the pins.

 (II) Geometric Tolerance and Roughness Requirements
The geometric tolerance and roughness of the center hole and keyway must strictly comply with national standards. The geometric tolerance and roughness of the customer's main shaft should also meet the corresponding requirements to improve product performance.

 (III) Installation Sequence Suggestions
Customers can choose the installation sequence according to different situations. Generally, install the clutch and brake ear plates, pins, and locking plates first, and then install the clutch brake body.

 (IV) Installation Notes for Square Pins
Square pins are used to eliminate the installation size error of two pins and the plate thermal deformation caused by the clutch heating. Please note that the two flat surfaces of the square pin should be parallel to the radial direction of the ear plate.

 (V) Sealing Requirements for Axial Air Intake
If it is an axial air intake, please install sealing caps at both ends of the clutch to prevent gas leakage.

 (VI) Check after Installation
After installation, the clutch end and brake end should move freely to ensure the normal operation of the clutch and brake.

 VI. Product Maintenance
 (I) Professional Maintenance Suggestions
Each clutch sold by our company has undergone strict acceptance. Customers are not allowed to disassemble the clutch privately. If any damage is caused by private disassembly, our company will not be responsible. If you find any quality problems, please inform us in time, and we will solve them for you as soon as possible.

 (II) Friction Pad Replacement Method
The friction pads on the product are consumable parts and should be replaced when the machine has been used for a long time and the friction pads are severely worn. The replacement of friction pads of our company is simple and does not require disassembling the ear plates and clutch. The specific methods are as follows:
- Replacement without Air Supply: Loosen the clutch ear plate, remove the bolts and nuts fixing the friction pads, replace with new friction pads, and then tighten the bolts and nuts.
- Replacement with Air Supply: Loosen the brake ear plate and repeat the above steps to replace with new friction pads.

 (III) Timing for Friction Pad Replacement
- For equipment such as presses, when the machine cannot reach the rated capacity, check whether the friction pads need to be replaced.
- When the wear amount of the friction pads exceeds half of the new ones, customers should replace the friction pads in time.

 VII. Product Selection
As a functional component of the used equipment, it is crucial to choose the appropriate clutch.
- Consequences of Improper Selection: If it is too small, it will not meet the rated capacity; if it is too large, on the one hand, it will increase the equipment cost, and on the other hand, it will cause the clutch to overheat, accelerate the wear of the friction pads and the aging of the sealing rings.

 VIII. Safety Precautions
 (I) Protection during High - speed Rotation
It is strictly forbidden to touch the clutch with hands or objects when the clutch is rotating at high speed to avoid danger.

 (II) Protection from High Temperature
It is strictly forbidden to touch the clutch directly with hands immediately after it stops rotating to avoid scalding. Wait for about half an hour after the clutch stops working until the temperature cools down to room temperature before performing maintenance.

 (III) Side Protection
It is strictly forbidden to stand on the side of the rotating clutch to avoid accidents caused by flying objects. A protective cover should be installed outside the clutch during use.

 (IV) Attention during Ventilation Operation
During the ventilation and air - stopping process, it is strictly forbidden to touch the friction pads with fingers to avoid being pinched.

 (V) Safety of Internal Structure
The clutch is equipped with springs inside. Do not disassemble it privately to avoid injury. If disassembly is required, it should be carried out by professionals.
